Valentine’s Day and Olive’s Very Vintage

Starting this week Olive’s Very Vintage boutique in Brooklyn, NY will be carrying deux lunes corsets. Initially they will be offering our ready-to-wear pieces, The Minimal and Garter Belt. And with Valentine’s Day just a couple weeks away we decided to add some seasonal fabric choices.

For most people Valentine’s Day is about red, so that was the first fabric color goal. I found a beautiful iridescent Scarlet Silk Dupioni. It was a no-brainer that there must be something black. Our Black Satin Coutil has such a sexy liquid sheen that I just had to show it off. And then I just couldn’t pass up this Blush Silk Dupioni, to fill out our Valentine’s Day palette. In addition the Garter Belt is now available in both Black and Scarlet Silk Organza

I am really excited to have our corsets in Olive’s Very Vintage. There is so much I like about this little shop in Brooklyn’s Carroll Gardens neighborhood. There is a seemingly endless array of quality vintage finds sprinkled with handpicked small designer clothing. I feel proud to have my corsets on display here.

Olive’s has a small, dedicated staff, led by shop owner Jennifer McCulloch, who is always at the ready to help you find an amazing piece or even put an entire outfit together. It’s a great adventure searching through the racks, but don’t be shy about asking for assistance in pulling together the perfect look. That’s exactly what we did for our little photo shoot to show off our new fabrics. A very big thank you to our guest stylist Jennifer.
